dude found the reason, u click on the shadow and then drag it by right clicking rather than left click which im sure u've been doing so far and when u leave it on the object , it automatically will open that window asking u to powerclip that inside.hope that helps after 2 mnths of ur question...hehe!

You cannot place an object into the drop shadow. What Tom is doing is just separating the drop shadow from the text and then power clipping that drop shadow in the text (container).

what version of corel is this? cuz when i hight click and draw a drop shadow to turn it into a power clip, nothing hapens and the option to mark powerclip inside doesn't apears... My corel is x5 version. Also, when i try to do that manualy, clicking in efects, powerclip and place insid container, it says the object selected is invalid... Help, plz!
